BGA ECG Sustainability Training 1

Introduction

The BGA ECG will be running three sustainability training sessions. Each one will focus on different project stages from Concept/Outline to Design to End of Life. Each session will consist of two 20 min presentations followed by an hour long activity. The activities will consist of working in groups to identify the sustainability considerations at each stage of a fictitious project.

This first session will include:

• A presentation on the key sustainability considerations and opportunities at the early stages of projects.
• A presentation by GEL on sustainable Ground Investigations
• Finally, there will be an hour long activity where teams need to make a fictitious early stage project as sustainable as possible
