Bishop and the Early Years of Soil Mechanics in England

An evening seminar at Imperial College London

Imperial College London is holding an evening seminar on Professor Bishop and the Early Years of Soil Mechanics in England. The seminar will be held at Imperial College London and presented by Laurie Wesley of the University of Auckland, New Zealand, who gained a PhD under Professor Bishop in 1975 and is currently working on the professor's biography.

The event is supported by the British Geotechnical Association.

The seminar will run from 6:00-7:30pm on the 17th April 2018, tea and coffee will be provided from 5:30pm. Registration is not required and all are welcome to attend.
