BGA members and other subscribers to GE can access page-turning digital versions of the print issue, and the latest issue has just been added to the GE website.

The January/February 2023 issue of Ground Engineering features an interview with International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) president Marc Ballouz, an interview with new Steel Piling Group (SPG) chair Graham Hall, and a report on the West of Leeds section of the Transpennine Route Upgrade.

It also has reports on ground investigations for the Blue Abyss deep sea test facility in Cornwall, lessons learned on the importance of ground investigations, and a technical paper on the framework for optimised design of rockfall protection embankments reinforced with geosynthetics.
