ISSMGE Members are being urged to sign up to GeoWorld, the professional networking platform for geotechnical engineers, so that they will appear in the 2016 Geotechnical Business Directory.
The business directory allows the industry to become better interconnected in a global economy and promote local, national and international interactions and collaborations. Anyone visiting the directory is able to search and find geo-professionals and companies with specific technical expertise anywhere in the world.
To be part of the 2016 directory, simply create an account on GeoWorld before 15th September 2016. Then, unless an opt-out is chosen, the account will automatically be included in the business directory. Inclusion in the directory is free. Each individual can create a professional profile, include technical biographical information, such as field of practice, technical expertise, as well as their location.
