Sponsorship of BGA Events

The BGA offers various forms of sponsorship, which allow organisations and companies to show their support for the BGA, and provides additional funds to support BGA activities.

Sponsorship of ICE Kendal’s Café Bar after BGA Evening meetings

In order to facilitate better networking opportunities amongst BGA members, it is the BGA’s aim to open the bar at the ICE after evening meetings. To facilitate this, the BGA invites sponsors to support the bar after evening meetings at One Great George Street.

Rates for sponsorship of the bar at BGA evening meetings:

• £500 per event for Non-Corporate Members of BGA
• £400 per event for paid-up Corporate Members of the BGA (20% discount on standard rate).

The sponsorship sum will be used to provide drinks for attendees, up to the value of the sponsorship sum. The BGA will invoice the sponsor accordingly and will request payment in advance of the meeting date. Please note that the BGA is not registered for VAT.

In return for the sponsorship of the bar, the company will receive the following benefits:

• Company name and logo will be displayed on lecture flyers and lecture closing slides.
• Acknowledgement of sponsorship by the Chair of the BGA at end of lecture.
• Opportunity to present a pop up display stand in the tea room (before the lecture) and then in the bar (after the lecture); display to be provided by sponsor.

It should be noted that for data protection reasons, the BGA is unable to provide the sponsor with a list of lecture attendees.

Other Sponsorships and Exhibitions

A range of sponsorship opportunities associated with other BGA events are also available, like BGA’s Annual Conference, BGA’s Annual Dinner, BGA half-day symposium, BGA’s Biennial Conference etc. Technical exhibition is also available, alongside some events.
