The British Geotechnical Association (BGA) is the principal association for geotechnical engineers in the UK.
The BGA Rankine Dinner is an important occasion bringing together the geotechnical community for an evening of fine food, socializing and networking, to celebrate the Rankine Lecture.
The Lecture and Dinner are open to BGA members and non-members alike.
The Rankine Dinner will be held after the lecture by Professor William Powrie, which will be held at the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) – Details of the lecture are HERE. The lecture is free to attend and does not require advance booking.
The Rankine Dinner is ticket only and advance booking is required. The dinner will be held at the usual venue at Imperial College, which is about a 5-minute walk from the RGS.

Please note that the dinner is usually heavily over-subscribed and early booking is recommended.
