The June 2026 issue of Ground Engineering is available online

The June 2026 issue of Ground Engineering is available on line. Online access to Ground Engineering (GE) is included in BGA subscriptions.

The June 2026 issue of Ground Engineering features insights into how new innovations are reducing the cost and time needed to renew rail tracks and how improvements in lineside monitoring are reducing the number of catastrophic landslips.

The issue also examines how the increasing use of geosynthetics is changing project design, as engineers look to integrate them at the early design stage, enabling greater reductions in embodied carbon.

On top of this, the issue includes a retrospective on 50 years of the British Drilling Association, highlighting the body’s key achievements over five decades, a talking point from Stuart Norman, the newly appointed chair of the Federation of Piling Specialists (FPS), discussing the value that membership of the organisation brings to the wider industry.

In addition, the June 2026 issue contains a Q&A with Jola Brown, a STEM ambassador and geotechnical engineer at WSP, along with the latest news and opinion.
