The BGA presented awards at its Annual General Meeting during its Annual Conference on 13 September 2021.

The team of authors from the PISA team received the 2020 BGA Medal from BGA Chair Professor Kelvin Higgins. The paper was ” PISA design model for monopiles for offshore wind turbines: Application to a stiff glacial clay till” in Géotechnique. Further details here.

Alice Duley of Jacobs received the 2020 Cooling Prize from BGA Chair Professor Kelvin Higgins. Further details here.

Abigail Bateman of Bristol University was awarded the 2020 BGA Masters Dissertation Prize, and received a certificate from BGA Chair Professor Kelvin Higgins. Further details here

Chuan Fong (David) Foo of Imperial College London was highly commended in the 2020 BGA Masters Dissertation Prize, and received a certificate from incoming BGA Vice Chair Dr Andrew Ridley. Further details here
