BGA Poster Award 2022
The BGA holds an Annual Poster competition for young geotechnical professionals under the age of 33 to showcase their work. This year there were seven entries, all of which can be viewed via the links below.
The Review Panel were impressed with the quality of submissions. The competition was won by Wei Wang of the University of Dundee for his poster on “Cyclic uplift performance of screw piles for offshore floating wind considering installation effects using DEM”, co-authored by Michael Brown and Matteo Ciantia. Michael Brown accepted the award on behalf of Wei Wang at the BGA Annual Conference at One Great George Street, held on 22nd June 2022.
