Introduction

The 3rd session of the BGA ECG MOGE Discussion Series is now open for registration. We invite engineers of all levels, from early-career to professionals, to learn about the latest content of the manual. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the broader engineering community and facilitate insightful discussions.

We are thrilled to announce that this session will feature speakers Prof William Powrie, Martin Preene, and Mark Lee. They will lead an enlightening discussion on the 'Groundwater Considerations,' sharing their invaluable insights and experiences. The session will include an overview of selected MOGE chapters – including, Chapter 15: Groundwater profiles and effective stresses and Chapter 16: groundwater flow. This will be followed by an interactive discussion led by our ECG representative Emily Riley.

To expand our discussion further outside London, this session will be held at the University of Leeds.

It will be delivered both in person and online. Prior registration is required.

Recording of the session can be found on BGA ECG YouTube channel:
