BGA ECG MOGE Discussion Series

Introduction

MOGE Discussion Series will be launched in 2024!

The ICE Manual of Geotechnical Engineering stands as a definitive reference for industry practitioners. To keep abreast of the latest developments in research and industry practices, a new manual is set to be released, and we eagerly await your valuable insights. The BGA Early Career Group is proud to launch the MOGE Discussion Series, aimed at fostering engaging conversations. We invite engineers of all levels, from early-career to professionals, to learn about the latest content of the manual and share your thoughts with an aim to capture diverse perspectives throughout our industry.

Event Goals:

  • Gain insights into the new material featured within the manual
  • Stimulating discussions for the new content
  • Provide a platform to gather various industry perspectives

Session Format (1.5 hours):

  • 30-45 minutes: Expert presentations by MOGE chapter authors and co-authors
  • 45 minutes: Interactive discussion with experienced panellists facilitated by an Early Career Group chair
  • Each session will cover 2-3 chapters in MOGE
