Introduction

The BGA ECG will be running three sustainability training sessions. Each one will focus on different project stages from Concept/Outline to Design to End of Life. Each session will consist of two 15 min presentations followed by 1 hour long activity. It is strongly encouraged to attend all 3 sessions and at least one session in person.

This 2nd session will include:

  • A presentation on the key sustainability considerations and opportunities during design and construction
  • A presentation by Joseph Gallagher on sustainable construction
  • An hour long activity where teams need to make a fictitious project as sustainable as possible
