Introduction

This workshop will aim to provide useful insights in the use of Oasys XDisp and PDisp to carry out ground movement assessments (GMAs). With focus on engaging young tunnelling and geotechnical engineers and introducing them into numerical tools, the workshop will:

  • Introduce you to PDisp and XDisp and explain what they do.
  • Show you examples of models in PDisp and XDisp.
  • Describe how PDisp and XDisp can be used together.
  • Explore the potential for automating with PDisp and XDisp.
  • Q&A Session.
