A joint meeting of the BTS and the BGA

Tim Newman, Geotechnical Engineer at Tideway

The evening meeting will be on the deoxygenated gas risk in London which may affect underground construction works. This has been the subject of recent research and the presentation will cover this, current thinking and the practical aspects to be adopted on projects.

This presentation will be of interest to tunnellers, civil engineers, geotechnical engineers and specialists and all those working in deep excavations in and around the London area.
