Rankine Day Seminar – A celebration of the life and work of Dr Angus Skinner: from micromechanics to engineering practice

Introduction

In advance of the 2024 BGA Rankine Lecture, Imperial College London is holding a half day seminar, to celebrate the life and work of Dr Angus Skinner. The event will be held at the Skempton Building, Imperial College London and chaired by Professor Jamie Standing.

The seminar will run from 1:15-4:30pm on the 19th March 2025, in advance of the Rankine lecture at 5:30pm.

Registration is not required and all are welcome to attend.

The seminar is followed by the 63rd  Rankine Lecture in the Sherfield Building at Imperial College London, Details of the Rankine Lecture can be found here.
