Inaugural Fookes Meeting for Engineering Geology – November 2025
The Geological Society is hosting the Inaugural Fookes Meeting for Engineering Geology as a two day event at Burlington House in London on 21 and 22 November 2025, and a hybrid in-person and virtual event, which will incorporate the Glossop Medal and Award.

The ‘Fookes Meeting for Engineering Geology’ (FMEG) will be held every two years by the Geological Society, by virtue of a generous donation from Mrs Edna Fookes in memory of Peter Fookes, FGS.
