On behalf of the Organizing
Committee, we would like to inform you that the International
Conference on Challenges and Achievements in Geotechnical Engineering
(ICCAGE2020), planed to be held in Tirana on June
1st to 13rd, is postponed
indefinitely. As you surely are aware of, the current situation, created
due to the spread of Covid-19 virus, makes it impossible holding such events.
Many similar events in the geotechnical engineering community have been
postponed and predicting any specific date for a possible reschedule is
very difficult. Nonetheless, we will try to coordinate with ISSMGE to
investigate what are the possible alternatives. We will try to keep you updated.
The British Geotechnical Association (BGA) is the principal association for geotechnical engineers in the UK.
