Postponement of 60th Rankine Lecture until March 2021

The 60th Rankine lecture was due to be held on 18th March 2020. However, due to the health risks of hosting large events posed by the Coronavirus pandemic, the lecture was postponed. The BGA have been closely monitoring the situation and have now decided that because of the ongoing pandemic there will not be a Rankine Lecture and Dinner in 2020. Instead Professor Stephan Jefferis will deliver his Rankine Lecture on Wednesday 17th March 2021. If it is possible to host large events at this time, the Rankine Dinner will follow the Lecture as usual.
