The 2020 Rankine Lecture has been postponed

Unfortunately, due to the health risks of hosting large events posed by the Coronavirus, the BGA Executive Committee has taken the sad decision to postpone the Rankine Lecture and Dinner. We are aware that this may cause some inconvenience which we deeply regret but we believe that postponement is the only responsible course of action at this time.

The new date for Professor Stephan Jefferis’ 2020 Rankine Lecture, followed by the Rankine Dinner, will be Wednesday 17th March 2021 – full details can be found in the BGA events calendar. Bookings for the Dinner will remain unaltered.

All other events in our calendar remain as planned, but a decision as to whether or not an event will go ahead will be made 7 days in advance. Our website will be updated accordingly.
