The March 2026 issue of Ground Engineering is available on line

The March 2026 issue of Ground Engineering features site reports on how monitoring-led intervention stabilised a vulnerable Wessex route cutting and the adaptive piling design and innovative drilling equipment required on Lancashire’s largest flood risk management scheme.

The issue also looks at how East West Rail’s ground investigation programme is being used to expose early career engineers to live delivery and how AI is reshaping geotechnical engineering skills.

On top of this, the issue includes an interview with the 64th Rankine Lecturer William Powrie on delivering resilient geotechnical infrastructure, a talking point from SLR Consulting technical director Chris Berryman on materials circularity and a technical paper on rethinking subsea cable-soil interaction.

In addition, the March 2026 issue contains a Q&A with principal geotechnical engineer at Coffey Geotechnics, Ian Scotland, along with the latest news and opinion.
