The May 2026 issue of Ground Engineering is available on line. Online access to Ground Engineering (GE) is included in BGA subscriptions.

The May 2026 issue of Ground Engineering features the profiles of this year’s Top 20 Women in Ground Engineering.

The issue also features a reports on the use of 3D ground modelling for wind farm foundation design, the challenges that needed to be overcome to carry out ground investigations at the Houses of Parliament, details of the hybrid solution designed for a slope stabilisation programme in Folkestone, and how a new monitoring system went from a field trial to first-time use on a live site.

In addition, the issue includes David Bradley, the new chair of the British Drilling Association, talking about his plans for the next two years in the role and a case study on the exploratory borehole drilling work being undertaken for a geothermal project planned for Aston University, in Birmingham.
