The November issue of Ground Engineering includes site reports on surveys carried out on an ageing flood embankment in Devon, an urban regeneration project on a former landfill site in Liverpool and ground investigations on the structurally compromised Hurst Castle.

The issue also includes interviews with 24th Glossop Medal Lecturer Mark Lee and Prakash Lecturer Award recipient Brady Cox.

In addition, it includes an Engineering Insight Q&A with Atkins Réalis asset management consultant Jane Middleton, as well as the latest news and opinion.
