Tickets for the 64th Rankine Dinner are now available
Tickets for the BGA 64th Rankine Dinner in honour of the 2026 Rankine Lecturer, Professor William Powrie, to be held on Wednesday 18th March 2026, are now available.
The Dinner is a ticket-only event will take place at the Queen’s Tower Room, Sherfield Building, Imperial College London following the Rankine Lecture, which will be held at the Royal Geographical Society (which is approximately a 5-minite walk from the Dinner venue).
Please note that the Dinner is often oversubscribed and a table/seat is not guaranteed until a payment is made.
To allow as many members as possible to attend this prestigious event, companies will initially be limited to purchasing one table with the option of requesting a second table through email if demand allows. In the event of over-subscription, applicants will be placed on a waiting list and advised as soon as possible if further places/corporate tables become available.
Companies may purchase either a table of 10 or a table of 9. Tables of 9 will include a student guest selected and funded by the BGA.
Dress code: Lounge suits.
Purchase options for the Rankine dinner this year will be as follows:
- A table of 10 – £1300
- A table of 9 – £1170 (The 10th guest will be a student allocated and paid for by the BGA)
- Individual ticket £130.
The BGA is not registered for VAT.
This includes pre-dinner drinks, 3-course meal, wine at the table, and coffee to follow.
