Voting for Election to BGA Executive Committee – Deadline 12 June 2020

The election to select three candidates to the British Geotechnical Association (BGA) Executive Committee is now in progress.

Civica is administering the Committee Election 2020 on behalf of the BGA. BGA members should receive an email with a secure link for electronic voting. The email may be branded CES or CEOS.

Voting closes at noon on Friday 12 June 2020. Votes cannot be cast after this time.

When using the voting link, BGA members should read the candidates statements, which includes details of the candidates sponsors (on the link) before casting their votes:

Five candidates are standing for three places. The candidates are:

  • Chris Barker: Associate Director at Arup;
  • Matteo Ciantia: Lecturer in Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Dundee;
  • Yuli (Chaido) Doulala-Rigby: Chief Civil Engineer at Tensar;
  • Stephanie Mennecier: Geotechnical Engineer at Mott MacDonald;
  • Ashraf Osman: Associate Professor at Durham University Department of Engineering.

BGA Members may cast their vote for up to three candidates.
