BGA Poster Award 2021
The BGA holds an Annual Poster competition for young geotechnical professionals under the age of 33 to showcase their work. This year, the entrants submitted their posters online. A Review Panel considered the submissions and shortlisted three posters to be presented in person at the BGA Annual Conference at One Great George Street, held on 13th September 2021.
The Review Panel were impressed with the quality of submissions. The three shortlisted posters were by Marina Bortolotto and Tokio Morimoto (Imperial College), Kuen-Wei Wu (University of Oxford) and Marios Koronides (Imperial College). The Poster Prize was awarded to Marina Bortolotto and Tokio Morimoto for their poster on “Experimental and modelling challenges on temperature effects on granular materials.
