The UK is represented on ISSMGE Technical Committees relating to various geotechnical specialities.

Membership is open to any ISSMGE member with an active interest in the topic, but only two nominees from each National Group are Nominated Members, with voting rights. Others are Corresponding Members. The TCs do much very valuable work in their topics. Membership of a TC puts you in contact with others throughout the world who are working at the forefront of the topic.
If any BGA member would like to join any of the TCs (an individual can join more than one), simply contact the BGA via bga@ice.org.uk. Members (including Corresponding Members) must be added to the TC by their National Group unless nominated by the ISSMGE Technical Oversight Committee or the TC Chair.
