The BGA Early Career Group's flagship event returns for 2021. Presented annually by two ICE Reviewers, 'Preparing for ICE Chartered Professional Review' provides practical guidance to engineers seeking chartership with the ICE. The event has been held annually for a number of years and has recently expanded to occur in both ECG regions.

This event is free to attend.

Synopsis

The BGA Early Career Group are pleased to invite you to February’s event. The talk will provide practical guidance for geotechnical engineers on how to approach the Professional Review and interpret the ICE guidelines into the geotechnical field. If you are considering sitting your Professional Review in the near future, this event will be a unique opportunity to get insight from two very experienced and well-accomplished geotechnical engineers, who are currently ICE Reviewers. Between them, the two ICE reviewers will discuss about how to achieve the nine different attributes and present some useful guidance and advice on how to avoid potential pitfalls at the Professional Review.

The presentations will be followed by a short mock review including a presentation and an interview with a recent successful chartered geotechnical engineer. The event will close with a Q & A session
