Following the call for nominations (which closed on 16 April 2018) the British Geotechnical Association (BGA) has received sufficient eligible nominations that an election will be held for the three places available on the BGA Executive Committee from June 2018.
Six candidates are standing, from which three will be elected, each to serve a three-year term on the BGA Executive Committee from June 2018 to June 2021.
The election process will be managed in behalf of the BGA by Electoral Reform Services (ERS). The means of voting will be electronically, via a personalised link that will be emailed to BGA members, which will include access to personal statements from the candidates.

The ERS email will be sent to members in late May 2018. The deadline for voting will be noon on 15 June 2018.
The successful candidates will be announced at the AGM taking place during the Annual Conference on 19 June 2018.
