Course on Grouting Fundamentals & Current Practice to be held in Munich in September 2019

The Grouting Fundamentals & Current Practice short course has been held in the United States since 1979, and since then has provided professional training and education to thousands of grouting professionals worldwide. In response to industry interest, the course will now be held in Europe for the first time in Munich, Germany.

The 4-day course (16 to 19 September 2019) covers pressure grouting as a method to improve geotechnical properties of soils and rock masses, with special focus on mechanisms, theories, and practical applications of grouting to ground densification and strengthening, permeability reduction and groundwater cutoffs. It includes 15 experts from 10 countries, providing breadth and expertise concerning grouting fundamentals and international best practices.

The course also includes a half-day “hands-on” field demonstration focusing on grouting materials, procedures and equipment.

Full details are on the course website.
