Regrettably, as those of you who attempted to view Prof Alonso’s Lecture online last night discovered, there was a technical hitch by Imperial College’s Audio Visual Department so that the live online viewing link we had distributed failed. Some viewers managed to locate the correct link but missed the opening 20 minutes or so of the presentation while searching for it.
Last night after an entertaining and informative 57th Rankine Lecture delivered by Eduardo Alonso, the 58th Rankine Lecturer was announced at the Rankine Dinner.
The BGA ECG warmly invite attendees to networking drinks following Professor Alonso’s Rankine Lecture 2017. The h-bar is located downstairs from the main lecture theatre and directions will be given on the night.
